In his span of 1979–88, he took 591 first-class wickets at an impressive average of 18.99, whereas in List A cricket, he took 202 wickets with an average of 20.74. He was rapid in his era, and everyone in Surrey talked highly of him.

Saqlain Mushtaq:

He was one of the greatest spinners of all time in cricket history; he made his unique mark in cricket history by bowling a unique delivery that was never bowled earlier, known as ‘Doosra’. He was an off-spinner in general, but for his variation, he added this new kind of delivery to fool the batsman into turning the ball away from him and deceiving him from the directed path of the ball.

In Surrey Cricket Club’s county match, when he bowled this ball, everyone, including his teammates, was in trouble understanding the kind of delivery. The duo was phenomenal for Surrey and led them to win many championships. In Mushtaq’s span of 1997–2008, Surrey won three championships.

Left-handed batsman from India who featured in the IPL and scored 500 runs with an average of 47 runs. He plays for Tamil Nadu in the Ranji Trophy, where he maintained his consistency of flowing runs according to the situation demanded with an impressive average of 47.6 followed by 2 centuries. He was picked by Surrey Cricket Club in September 2023; he played two matches for Surrey and made 116 runs, which includes one half-century as well.

Daniel Worrall:

Tall 6 ft 2 bowler who featured in 2016 in an international match playing for Australia. He was signed by Surrey in 2022. In the same year, he took 39 wickets for Surrey in nine matches with an average of 24.15, which led Surrey to claim their championship title. He also performed exceptionally well against Essex in July, where he took 11 wickets off 122 runs.

Kumar Sangakkara:

He is the former Sri Lankan captain, who defined batting in his elegant way, following with a sight to watch a cover drive by a left-handed batsman, and always left everyone on the ground in awe of him. He played for Surrey from 2015–17 and delivered important runs when the Surrey cricket club needed them the most. He made seven centuries in 12 innings in the county cricket championship.
