Talking about the IND vs PAK match, after winning the toss, Babar Azam elected to field first. The Pakistani bowlers made a blockbuster start and helped their side take the driving position in the crucial clash. Naseem Shah and Haris Rauf picked 3 wickets each, while Mohammad Amir also contributed by picking two wickets.
For the Men in Blue, their star keeper-batter Rishabh Pant was their knight in shining armor, with the bat. He played a crucial knock of 42 runs under pressure. After the brilliant bowling performance by the Pakistan team, the Indian cricket team was bundled up for just 119 runs in 19 overs.
While the target looked below-par, however, the Pakistani team failed to chase it down as it ultimately proved to be enough on the challenging surface. The Indian bowlers did an amazing job, restricting Pakistan to 113/7 after 20 overs.
Jasprit Bumrah was the pick of the bowlers for Team India. He was also adjudged the Man of the Match, having registered fantastic figures of 4-0-14-3.
