South Africa defeated West Indies by ten wickets in a one-sided match of the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2024. With this win, Team India made a great start to their campaign. After losing the toss, West Indies scored 118 for six when sent to bat first.
Stephanie Taylor scored an unbeaten 44 off 41 balls. For South Africa, left-arm spinner Nonkululeko Mlaba gave a career-best performance, taking four wickets for 29 runs while Marianne Kapp took two wickets for 14 runs.
