In the 1896 Vitality County Championship, Yorkshire played a match against Warwickshire. That year, Yorkshire Cricket Club claimed victory in the tournament by winning over 16 matches out of 26, and five players from Yorkshire made over 100 runs. 

In the clash between Yorkshire and Warwickshire, a total of 887 runs were made by the players of the Yorkshire cricket club.

Back in 1907, Nottinghamshire won its first Vitality county championship. In a match between Northamptonshire and Gloucestershire, in the first inning, Northamptonshire got all out at 60, and Gloucestershire just got out all out on a mere 12 runs, which is till now the lowest team total in first-class cricket.

This record is backed by the legend, who also made one of the highest individual totals in international test cricket, with 400+ runs. Brian Lara, the West Indies left-handed batsman, whose square cut was as smooth as the butter on the knife melting. Brian played county cricket from Warwickshire and smashed 501* runs against Durham in the Vitality county championship in 1994.

This record is claimed by the slow left-arm orthodox bowler from England who played for Yorkshire Cricket Club in the Vitality County Championship. Hedley Verity holds this record for having the bowling figure of taking 10 wickets with just an expense of 10 runs in an innings; this match was played between Nottinghamshire and Yorkshire at Headley in 1932.

This record is claimed by the leg spinner, who was specialized in bowling googly at that time. Tich Freeman, an English cricketer who used to play for Kent Cricket Club, got the most number of wickets in his pocket in the Vitality County Championship. He took a total of 3151 wickets in his career, which is difficult for many of the batsmen to manage and score these many runs in their first-class cricket career.
