Bryce’s sisters Sarah and Katherine played useful innings for Scotland but the team could not reach a winning score. Sarah scored 27 runs in 31 balls and Katherine scored 33 runs in 28 balls.

In response, England’s openers Maya Busier and Danni Wyatt scored unbeaten half-centuries. Both scored runs at a stormy pace, which also boosted the English team’s net run rate. Busier started the innings with fours.
She also got a lifeline in the beginning and she took full advantage of it. She remained unbeaten after scoring 62 runs in 34 balls with 12 fours. Danny faced 26 balls and scored an unbeaten 51 runs with the help of seven fours. None of the Scottish bowlers’ moves worked against the attacks of these two.
England reached the top
England was in third place before winning this match. To beat South Africa in net run rate, it had to win before 11.5 overs. To beat West Indies, it had to win in 9.3 overs. Now it has reached the first place but West Indies is above it in net run rate.
