<p><img decoding="async" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-2152" src="https://cricketcounty.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/09/Untitled-design-2024-09-23T153735.905.jpg" alt="Lauren Bell: The Fiery Pacer Of England" width="1200" height="675" srcset="https://cricketcounty.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/09/Untitled-design-2024-09-23T153735.905.jpg 1200w, https://cricketcounty.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/09/Untitled-design-2024-09-23T153735.905-300x169.jpg 300w, https://cricketcounty.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/09/Untitled-design-2024-09-23T153735.905-1024x576.jpg 1024w, https://cricketcounty.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/09/Untitled-design-2024-09-23T153735.905-768x432.jpg 768w, https://cricketcounty.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/09/Untitled-design-2024-09-23T153735.905-150x84.jpg 150w, https://cricketcounty.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/09/Untitled-design-2024-09-23T153735.905-696x392.jpg 696w, https://cricketcounty.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/09/Untitled-design-2024-09-23T153735.905-1068x601.jpg 1068w" sizes="(max-width: 1200px) 100vw, 1200px" /></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400">Lauren Bell established herself as ‘the young potential fast bowler’ in 2019 when in the semi-finals of the Kia Super League she was able to portray such a good bounce and swing along with maintaining a sheer pace which helped the Southern Vipers to win the match against Loughborough Lightning. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400">Lauren trained with the senior team of England and found time to pick up seven wickets for the Southern Vipers in 4 appearances to help achieve success in the Raechel Heyhoe Flint Trophy. </span></p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400">The unique skills that set her apart and show her potential are: </span></p>
<p><b>Pace and Accuracy:</b><span style="font-weight: 400"> Bell&#8217;s ability to consistently bowl at a high speed, combined with her accuracy, makes her a formidable opponent.  </span></p>
<p><b>Swing Bowling:</b><span style="font-weight: 400"> She is skilled at swinging the ball both ways, making it difficult for batsmen to score runs.</span></p>
<p><b>Potential for Greatness:</b><span style="font-weight: 400"> With her talent and dedication, Bell has the potential to become one of the greatest fast bowlers in English women&#8217;s cricket history. (right now </span><b>Shabnim Ismail</b><span style="font-weight: 400"> of South Africa holds the record for bowling the fastest delivery in women’s cricket. However, Ellyse Perry was the first woman to cross the 130kmph mark in women’s cricket.)</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400">Lauren Bell’s performance across all the formats has been amazing and she has always proved to be the next big thing for England as a pacer. She made her international debut in 2022, in the Test format she has played 3 matches against mighty rivals- India, South Africa, and Australia. and took 8 wickets in total. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400"> In ODIs, she has made 14 appearances in which she was able to grab 27 runs which includes one fiver already. In the T20i format, she has played a total of 23 matches for England and took 32 wickets with a career economy of 6.94 and an impressive average of 17.21. </span></p>
<p><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-2149" src="https://cricketcounty.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/09/Untitled-design-2024-09-23T153726.015.jpg" alt="Lauren Bell: The Fiery Pacer Of England" width="1200" height="675" srcset="https://cricketcounty.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/09/Untitled-design-2024-09-23T153726.015.jpg 1200w, https://cricketcounty.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/09/Untitled-design-2024-09-23T153726.015-300x169.jpg 300w, https://cricketcounty.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/09/Untitled-design-2024-09-23T153726.015-1024x576.jpg 1024w, https://cricketcounty.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/09/Untitled-design-2024-09-23T153726.015-768x432.jpg 768w, https://cricketcounty.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/09/Untitled-design-2024-09-23T153726.015-150x84.jpg 150w, https://cricketcounty.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/09/Untitled-design-2024-09-23T153726.015-696x392.jpg 696w, https://cricketcounty.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/09/Untitled-design-2024-09-23T153726.015-1068x601.jpg 1068w" sizes="auto, (max-width: 1200px) 100vw, 1200px" /></p>
<p><a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lauren_Bell_(cricketer)" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Lauren Bell</a> gave an outstanding performance in the Hundred league for Southern Brave where she took 4 crucial wickets against Northern Superchargers and defended 7 runs in the final 5 balls of the game ending with an impressive bowling figure of 4/11.</p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400">Lauren’s most recent international appearance was on July 17th, in a T20 format match against Australia, she took three wickets in that match which helped England to secure a win of 20 runs. Bell has also been successful at the domestic level, playing for teams like Southern Vipers and Southern Brave in the English domestic leagues.  </span></p>

<p>On selecting the squad, head coach Jon Lewis said, <em>&#8220;Selecting teams and squads with this group of players has become incredibly tricky and tough. There are players who have been really unfortunate to miss out and they’ll be a big part of what we do with England Cricket in the future.&#8221;</em></p>
<p>He added: <em>&#8220;I feel the 15 players selected give us a really well-balanced squad in terms of experience, youth and most importantly the skills to cope and excel in the conditions we feel we will be faced with in the UAE.&#8221;</em></p>
