Warwickshire’s team coach, Ian Westwood, said, “Beau brings proven quality, a great record, a very imposing figure, and he looks to be improving all the time. He’s a cricketer who’s on the up, and his relatively recent decision to start bowling seam has given him even more impetus.”

“We’re getting an Australian Test cricketer who will deliver with bat and ball, can bowl spin and seam, and is a quality fielder. As all-rounders go, you couldn’t have anyone better and more versatile. We’re really excited to have him and lucky to have a player of his class joining us at this time,” he added

Beau Webster himself expressed his excitement and said, “I’m really pleased to sign for the Bears for part of the 2025 season. Having played Birmingham League cricket [for Knowle and Dorridge] in the past, I have great memories of the people and the area. I played some Championship cricket last summer with Gloucestershire and loved the challenge of the competition.”

Webster’s career has been nothing short of a miracle. He is known for his versatility as a right-handed batter and a bowler capable of both medium pace and off-spin. His addition to the team is seen as a strategic move as he gears up for the WTC Finals with Australia.
