Madhya Pradesh Ahilya Mata Guardians won a crucial match against Uttarakhand Chandrashekhar Azad Thunders by four wickets.

Uttarakhand struggled to get off to a good start while batting first. Their top order quickly collapsed, and the team continued to lose wickets at regular intervals. Rahul attempted to stabilise the innings by scoring 20 runs off 20 balls, while Yash Rav added 19 runs off 15 deliveries. Lokesh scored an unbeaten 11 runs off 7 balls in the last over.

However, the Guardians’ strong bowling kept the game under control. Uttarakhand’s 10 overs yielded only 71 runs for 7 wickets.

Sushant Nagar was the ball’s star performer. He bowled brilliantly and picked up three important wickets while conceding just 13 runs in his three-over spell. His accurate bowling never allowed the opposition to build momentum.

Jhye Richardson has now signed with Yorkshire County Cricket Club for the initial stages of the 2026 County Championship. The Australian fast bowler will be available for the first six matches of the Rothesay County Championship, until mid-May.

It’s highly improbable that Jhye Richardson will appear in all six matches due to his contract with Cricket Australia. He is under the microscope for the number of games he plays due to injury history and has limited to no chance to be considered for all six matches.

At 29, Jhye Richardson brings international know-how to Headingley. He won his fourth Test cap in the current series of The Ashes and has taken 13 Test wickets at an average of 21.00, which is quite impressive.

Greater Noida is ready for big cricket action as the Big Cricket League (BCL), the world’s first pro-am cricket league, prepares for its second season. Season 2 will be hosted at Shaheed Vijay Singh Pathik Stadium, Greater Noida.

The league will take place from 11th March to 22nd March 2026. During this time, Greater Noida will become the centre of top-level Pro-Am cricket.

After the strong response to Season 1, the league is returning bigger and stronger. Season 2 will feature well-known international cricketers along with some of India’s most talented amateur players. The aim is to build a strong performance-based cricket system where professionals and amateurs compete together.

The player auction on 16th February 2026 is expected to attract major attention. Teams will carefully select their squads by mixing international stars with talented amateur players.

Season 1 included famous international cricketers such as Shikhar Dhawan, Suresh Raina, Irfan Pathan, Yusuf Pathan, Herschelle Gibbs and Imran Tahir.
